Rapid Building Group was established in 2017 by Luke Edmonds and Sam Blomeley, bringing together complementary experience from the construction and carpentry industries. Both founders have operated their own construction businesses, with Luke also having more than 10 years’ experience running a successful carpentry company prior to establishing Rapid Building Group.
Today, the business is supported by a skilled in-house team and a reliable network of experienced trades and suppliers. We take a hands-on approach to construction, with leadership remaining closely involved in the delivery of projects rather than removed from the day-to-day realities of the build.
Our approach is straightforward: understand the project, communicate clearly, manage the details and take responsibility for finding practical solutions. We believe this creates stronger working relationships and more consistent project outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.

Design & Construct
Our design-and-construct approach brings construction expertise into the project from the outset. By working collaboratively through the design and planning stages, we can identify practical construction considerations early and help develop solutions that support the project’s requirements, budget and programme.
We understand that effective design is not simply about how a finished building looks. It must also translate into a buildable, coordinated and well-managed project. Our construction experience allows us to contribute practical insight throughout the process, helping to identify potential issues before they become costly or disruptive during construction.
Where appropriate, we work alongside designers, consultants and other project stakeholders to coordinate the requirements of the project and establish a clear pathway from design through to construction and completion.

We manage the practical requirements of construction while maintaining communication with clients, consultants, trades and other project stakeholders. This includes coordinating works, monitoring progress, addressing issues as they arise and maintaining focus on the agreed project requirements, programme and budget.
Our hands-on approach means we remain engaged with the construction process and the details that influence project delivery. Rather than simply reacting to problems, we take a solutions-focused approach to identifying and resolving issues as early as possible.
From commencement through to completion and handover, our objective is to provide clients with a controlled, transparent and professionally managed construction experience.
